need a husband

[Vim71]

O most holy apostle, Saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honoureth and invoketh thee universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, and of things almost despaired of.

Pray for me, who am so miserable. Make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded to thee, to bring visible and speedy help where help was almost despaired of.

Come to mine assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and succor of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly To help jojos_faith find a husband and that I may praise God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity.

I promise thee, O blessed Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favour, to always honour thee as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to thee.

Amen.

May the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, and loved in all the tabernacles until the end of time. Amen.

May the most Sacred Heart of Jesus be praised and glorified now and forever. Amen

St. Jude pray for us and hear our prayers. Amen.

Blessed be the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Blessed be the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Blessed be St. Jude Thaddeus, in all the world and for all Eternity.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end
Amen.

I know I’m really late to this thread, but I’m new to the forum. Just from what I’ve read at the beginning (because I try to search for similar questions that have already been asked before bugging people with my own), this sounds a lot like me. I’m a single mom of a 5-year-old boy. I’ve never been married. His dad completely disappeared on me when I got pregnant, then returned later to be a part of his son’s life, even though now he’s hardly ever around. Everything in the world falls on my shoulders. I’ve never been good at meeting people or making friends or just getting people to like me. I’m just one of those people that nobody really pays attention to. I know a lot of people, but I have few friends. And unfortunately, all my friends are married now with families of their own. I keep praying for a husband, too, but so far all I’ve gotten is a nine-month relationship with a lazy, unintelligent free-loader who treated me like ****. And it seems like no matter what I do, nothing ever changes for the better. It’s all taking a toll on me, and it’s doing nothing to help me be a good mother. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s making me a worse mother. My biggest fear is, as my child gets older, he’ll realize he’s got a “real” family at his dad’s (because there he’s got his dad, his stepmom, two step-siblings, and a half-sibling), and he’ll want to leave me too, just like all the other men in my life. Anyway, I guess my point is, you’re not the only one going through something like this. I wish I had some advice, but I’m lost myself. Just know you’re not alone, even though for something like this that’s probably not a very comforting thought.

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Amen.

Amen.
