What does PBWH mean?
I think it’s “peace be with him”, I’ve seen Muslims use this for Moses and Jesus (“prophets”) and PBUH for Muhammad, which, I think is “peace be upon him”

Someone correct me if I’m horribly mistaken?

What does PBWH mean?
Peace be with Him,
it is part of distinguishes prophets from others of the same name.
It also is to show respect for His obedience to The Father.

May God Bless and guide you

I don’t know if I can eat something “cute” if I knew it when it was still alive. Zooey, you wouldn’t . . would you?
.
Well, I have…I come from a long line of hunters & farmers. The rule is, never name anything edible.
But I have to tell you, I have eaten named poultry a good many times, at least…Of course, I don’t like birds anyway, which may be part of it.’
But I cannot tell you how many wee creatures I have eaten in my Granma’s Stew. She would get it cooking, without the meat, and when Granpa got in from the woods, he would cut up the:o cute and the:p uncute little critters into the boiling pot…🤷

Mind you, I never had to do any of the butchering…That might make the difference. But I was in school several years, before I realized that there were people who:cool: thought all the deer were “Bambi”. (Bambi, Schmambi. They’re darn tasty, and I’m having some!)

When my son was in the Army in Korea, he had the nerve to try dog. He said it was on the menu at some little place. He told me it tasted “just like chicken”
I can’t imagine that.

Not that I’ve tried them but a lot folks in other cultures eat bugs of various kinds for protein. I would be curious if any CAFers have experiences with eating such critters and perhaps if any have some recipes.

What about different forms of the same meat? One of my favorite meals is slices of hot or sweet Italian sausage sauteed with sliced sweet peppers and onions, tossed with pasta. Mmmmmm. Can also be done over polenta.
