Well, that’s not the same thing as a “camp”. I went to a Baptist summer camp when I was in 7th grade. It’s organized, there are activities on a schedule, plus free time, and every evening is an organized service of some kind.
It just sounds like you are going to a campground affiliated with a Christian denomination. Perhaps there will not be any organized revival type religious services.
Don’t forget to find a Catholic Church to attend if you will be there over the weekend. You can look at www.masstimes.org to find one.

Yeah, we’re psyched! How’d it go? Are you still in a frenzy, or still in fidelity? But, so you won’t freak out, I was “slain in the spirit” too! However, it was by a charismatic priest during a “Life in the Spirit” seminar series. It was the single most important jump-start that my faith has had.
So, the Pentecostals DO have sometihng, they just don’t have it ALL. We do, and I can only recommend that you check out the seminars, as they remove fear of evangelizing, and bring gifts of the Holy Spirit-some of which might be speaking in tongues, but more importantly: the gift of prophesy-as St. Paul tells us.
Without a translator, tongues are not understood and seek only to build the speaker up. Prophesy builds the entire church up and is to be desired more than tongues. Check into the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. A little hard to find, but worth it.

Well Praise the Lord and hello to all my CAF friends! I’m back home safe and sound. 
Here’s how it went.
The camp was owned by the Pentecostal Church. The church was located on a neighboring camp, but there were no services when I went. We missed the big “Spirit” week. But instead got a quiet rest with lots of extended family around and a few racoons.
There were lots of “Hallileuja’s”,“Praise the Lord” and the word “Fellowship” were thrown around. Magnets with bible verses, crosses and lots of painted white rocks on the field.
I did get an opportunity to evangelize around the campfire. One person in particular. She told me she was close friends with a catholic and she said she didn’t think priests and religious were important. She let me know that she only read books that were scripture based. She mentioned Dr James Dobson and Max sombody (who I don’t know). I let her know that I thought that was great, but that sacred Tradition was equally important and that we didn’t need to start from scratch and re-invent the wheel. I let her know that I was aware that Dr Dobson was very pro-life. She told me that she and her family had suffered for years (broken home - 11 kids) and she seemed to be preoccupied with fighting evil. I let her know that Jesus Christ had already won the biggest battle on the cross and that we can all benefit from offering up our crosses to Him. Then I told her the story of St Therese and she was quite surprised and I asked her if she watched Mel G’s “The Passion of the Christ”. We exchanged our favourite parts in the movie ( when Jesus kisses the cross - mine) (Jesus was in the garden and the devil was taunting him - hers). We left it at that.
Before I knew it, the trip was over. We got in the van, she came over and gave our family and car a special blessing and we all said “AMEN”.

Sounds good. If you speak with her again, ask her if she has ever experienced the “moment of grace” associated with God’s forgiveness. Of course, I’m talking about reconcilliation. THAT’s what preists are needed for (among so much else). Didn’t sound too bad, and you planted a seed of faith. The Lord will send others to water it and cultivate it.

It sounds like you had a good time, plus found some common ground with a non-Catholic and had a great conversation. One never knows what seed you may have planted, even if it is to leave that person (girl, as I recall) with an improved view of Catholics and Catholicism.
