I’m getting married a week from today!
Can any of you recommend a good resource for explaining Natural Family Planning?.. I am seriously clueless!
Didn’t they cover the topic in your marriage prep classes? If not, ask at your parish for them to recommend clsses in your area.I’m getting married a week from today! Can any of you recommend a good resource for explaining Natural Family Planning?.. I am seriously clueless!
I would TOTALLY welcome a honeymoon baby!!! In fact I pray for it! (I will be 40 this year and Chris will be 45!!!)
I will pray for you!
They only mentioned NFP briefly in our Pre Marital Counseling… I am wondering if someone can recommend a good Catholic book on the subject.
It is sad…I keep hearing stories where marriage prep classes either do not mention NFP at all, mention it so briefly that you wonder if they really did, or actually bash it and tell everyone not to use it!
I don’t know a Catholic book, but the one I started with (and found really easy to understand) is called “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” by Toni Weschler.
If you ignore the parts where they suggest using a barrier method on fertile days, it will give you a good base of knowledge.
