Didn’t use a funeral home. Either way, i’m not really open to psychological help. My father vigorously insisted throughout my childhood receiving such care would label you mentally unstable and prevent employment for the government (what I plan to do when I finish my degree’s). So that’s sort of off the table.Wow.
That’s enough to throw anyone for a loop.
The funeral home where you did her funeral should have counseling services available. If they didn’t offer them to you at the time of the funeral, just call them up again and ask. Mention that you’re having trouble fitting in at school, and feeling left out of things you used to enjoy, as well as experiencing a very natural sense of shock and grief.
Mention that you’re Catholic, as well - I don’t know whether they will match you with a Catholic counselor, but they will at least find someone who isn’t hostile to religion.
I felt the same way. Which is what kept me from diving into that tank to help with my addictions. So I know what you mean.Didn’t use a funeral home. Good idea actually. Give it a try.Maybe I should get a online dating account
I just need to get out and get away.
It’s not the same as what people with mental illnesses go to; it’s just someone who is there to listen to you, when the things you need to say aren’t really suited for the people you live with.Didn’t use a funeral home.
