Need wisdom and discernment

Hi y’all,

I have a personal situation that has me very confused. I want to follow God’s will but I don’t know what that is in this particular case. I haven’t gotten any clear answers from my prayers on it (yet, or that I’ve noticed). I’m left just waiting for something to come and smack me on the forehead before I know what action to take.

Please, I need prayers for this situation to become more clear.

Gracious and all-knowing Lord of all, mercifully hear the prayers of cecilia97 as she petitions You for Heavenly guidance. You, O God, know our hearts, having created them. Look with immeasurable love upon your creation and inspire all truth in cecilia97, by the power of the Holy Spirit, that she may accomplish Your Divine will through her loving obedience. I ask this through Christ, our Lord, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God for ever and ever. Amen.

Keeping you in daily prayer with Our Lady of Good Counsel…very often asking advice can help and suggest the Spirituality Forum along with advice from fellow Catholics, priests or nuns…God does very often speak to us through others…
 
Have faith, the answer will come maybe not as dramatic as you may think, but in a quiet calm way, :gopray2:
 
Be patient,GOD works in HIS time NOT ours,Don’t cease in praying.
 
Continue to pray. Not all prayers are answered with a “YES.” Our Lord knows what we need more than we think we know what we need. Be strong in your faith and trust in our Lord to provide you with what you need. We are His children, and He loves us more than our minds can imagine. Place all of your trust in Him. He will never let you down.

I ask our Blessed Mother to take your prayers, and the prayers of all those praying for you, and to intercede with Her Son for you. May She draw you into Her Immaculate Heart for guidance and protection.

Wow…seems like an answer came quickly and clearly, via my counselor this afternoon. I think I’d known in my gut what to do for weeks but I was unsure of myself. God surely knows that about me so maybe I had to hear it from an outside source to believe it.

I’m pretty certain the advice is on the right track because I have a sense of peace about the situation that’s been missing up until now.

Please keep me in your prayers if you still can, though, everyone. I can’t take action on this for a few more weeks and I’ll need strength. And if the outcome leaves me a little sad I’ll need help accepting God’s will.

If your chosen path produces good fruits, the denial of self, and humility before God, it is very close to being His perfect will. If it comforts your ego, tends to come at a cost to others, or somehow fails to glorify God, it likely is not the intended route for you to take. Remember that we will suffer affliction in this life, but that Christ has overcome this life and promises all joy in the life to come. May the Lord of Hosts grant you the discernment which comes from on high.
