Need your prayers, again

Lord, please help jules and her husband in their marriage. Please hold them up when they are down, and carry them when they are weak. Guide them back to the love they felt for one another when they met, and shine Your light so brightly that they have no choice but to focus on you…together as one, as you meant them to be. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen. :signofcross:
 
I pray that all goes well today and God’s love shines to you both. Be strong and let the Holy Spirit guide you through this rocky adventure. God Bless.

Mother of Perpetual Help,

We ask that today you would ask for help for Jules11 and her husband. Secondly we’d ask that you would pray for Jules to have the graces she needs to withstand the daily events in her life. You know what that is like to see things in front of you and all you can do is watch and pray. Help her to have strength and please comfort her in the evening when she is tired and feels hopeless. Help her to have a soft heart and not be hardened by what might seem like a lack of love in her life. Your son loves her and her husband, look on her with favor.

We ask through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

1 Corinthians 13:1-7

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

May the love described by St. Paul illumine the two hearts which, long ago decided to love each other, enkindling anew the flames that were, and are, and will be. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
 
Thanks everyone… things are looking a lot better. We are talking and getting somewhere, I think. It’s looking a lot more positive.

I really appreciate everyone that takes the time to reply to my request for prayers. Thank you all! We have talked on a couple of occasions now. We both want the marriage, just do not know how to resolve conflict. But God has helped us step closer to resolving things. Our conversations have been positive and constructive. Thanks for your prayers and be assured that you all are in mine.
