Hello.

My daily routine is:
migraine w/ nausea------offer up my sufferings to God for Our Heavenly Mother’s Intentions.
Now that I’m a member, I’ll add the CAF members to that 🙂

My daughter suffers from the same. You are in my prayers.

FYI. Hers was due to insomnia. The Lunesta seems to be working a lot. 🙂
 
What a priviledge it is to suffer that God may be greater glorified!
 
Questions. As I am usually on about once a week, this would be a good thing for me - my question is this : Do I have to be a baptized Catholic to participate? I will be attending mass over the summer (I hope to start next week!). My local parish’s Father stated that the RCIA classes will start about same time as school for the kids, and so I will be attending those at that point.

Oh, and I know this might seem a crazy or unnecessary question, but even the Prayer Warriors can post prayer needs, right? (Sorry, very new to this all! Definitely want to learn though!)

If my next question doesn’t fit in to this particular thread, please let me know. When it comes to making the sign of the cross, is that something that only a fully accepted Catholic can do, or are those who believe in Jesus and willing to go the catholic path able to do so? Hungry for knowledge, please!

Of course you can participate… and do prayer requests also. You are well on the way to becoming Catholic and of course you should make the sign of the cross. I wish you all the best.
 
I do feel rather bad. I haven’t been on in some time because of difficulties related to our somewhat recent move. Between that, my sweetheart’s job loss, plus I started working again last month. I understand that those were things which I had only minimal (or no) control over. But I still feel a bit bad after saying that I was usually on once a week!

May the Lord bless the efforts for CAF to bring many people closer to Jesus and to Holy Mother Church. I have been paying for Dakota70 for healing after her back surjery.

Here are the steps you need to take to become a Prayer Warrior

Go to your Profile > Group Memberships > Prayer Warrior > Join Group

I’ll approve your request, then voila! You are a CAF Prayer Warrior!
Now wasn’t that easy? 😃

I would like to join, but when I go to Profile, it does not give me an option to Group Memberships.

“Group Memberships” is different than social groups. I had the same problem when I tried to join the Prayer Warriors. I was looking for it with the social groups and it’s not there.

On the top of the screen where it says, “Home, Search, Groups, Members, Profile,” etc., click on Profile. Then on the left-hand side of the screen you will see a panel that says, “Your Control Panel.” On this panel, click on “Group Memberships,” NOT “Social Groups.” (They are both underneath where it says “Networking”.) From there it will show you Group Memberships you can join, Greeter, Prayer Warrior, etc. and click on the button to request to join the Prayer Warriors.

If anyone read this. I joined the Prayer warriors. But I cannot see that group name in my profile yet. I think Its either not accepted yet or I didn’t succeed in joining.

But Ity doesn’t stop me from praying.: )

If I’m not mistaken, if you followed the instructions above like I did, then it may take a bit to show up on your profile.

I’m Bluey22 and your prayer warrior call is just what I needed. See, I’m in college in the middle of NOWHERE! I have no car and the nearest Catholic church is essentially light years away, if you have no transportation. So I can only make it to Mass about once a month. SOOOO…in order to make Sunday special and Commandment Holy, I figured I’d do something special on Sundays including a decade of the rosary and posting a reply to at least ten prayer requests here. That is the specific reason why I joined and registered about three seconds ago. I think this will be a lot of fun. :0) Thank you for the help wanted post!!!
