Hi, To join the prayer warriors you need to do something on your end.

Mouse over profile, and click on control panel.

In the control panel window you are going to see on the left hand side of the screen the following.

Your profile, networking, settings and options, and ect.

Under networking clcik on Group Memberships.

It will bring up groups. See the prayer warrios entitled. Click on Join group, but make sure you select the little bubble to join the group.

Then a box will open up and say tell why you want to join the group or something like that.

Type your reason in and then hit submit.

It takes some time for the prayer warrior title to appear as it takes time for the groiup leader to approve requests.

It may take a couple weeks to get “Prayer Warrior” by your name. But while waiting you c an still pray and post in the Prayer Intentions forum!
 
Hi! I am new to CAF. I would like to volunteer to be a Prayer Warrior. I will dedicate a little part of each day for specific intentions. Thank you! and God Bless!

The best place to post them is in the Prayer Intentions forum itself. That way you have a thread to yourself (with the intention in the title and first post) and many people can add their prayers to that thread.

This thread here helps you become a “Prayer Warrior”, and welcomes you to the group. As a Prayer Warrior you get “Prayer Warrior” under your name and formally commit to regular posting of prayers. See earlier explanations of what YOU must do to become a “Prayer Warrior”.

Requests for prayers here of course are OK too! But having your own separate thread is helpful to you and for organization purposes.

I’ll approve your request, then voila! You are a CAF Prayer Warrior!

To join Prayer Warriors you do need to follow the steps given most recently in post #181 (these are better than the post #1 instructions)

If you know about these steps already (:)and see this), let us know so we don’t need to post this reminder.

Today I would like to pray for my four adult children, their spouses and families. Holy Spirit enlighten and help them.

I have applied to be a prayer warrior by following the instructions.

It probably sounds silly to ask, but I’d like help to clarify what the tasks of a prayer warrior are.

Does this mean I have to post my own prayer intentions thread once weekly, or does it mean I have to simply reply to at least one post once weekly? :confused:

Also (I am new to praying), how do people pray for others ‘in bulk’? When you read individual threads, do you pray for them then, or do you pray for lots of people all at once, and if so, how do you do that? Do you write down people’s names and what they ask for?

I sent request but am not sure it worked. Did you receive my request to become a prayer warrior?

It’s OK to just reply to one post per week. (Thanks for reminding me because sometimes I forget, shame on me!)

I don’t think there are any rules, so long as you do pray for them! I usually do it while or just after I respond to the post, so I don’t forget! (I would think it best to pray for people one at a time, but I don’t think there are rules)

Unfortunately it can take two or more weeks before you’ll see “Prayer Warrior” by your user name. In the mean time you can still post and pray!

I’m not personally the one receiving requests, but I just know it works this way! Don’t worry I’m sure your request will be accepted.

Thank you very much! I wasn’t sure I did it right but I double checked the instructions and I’m sure I did. In the meantime I will pray away!! 😃
 
I will be offline for a few days while our computer tech fixes the computer issues we have recently encountered. But I will continue to pray for the requests here in my daily rosary. God bless everyone.
 
I need prayer to help me find the New Jerusalem Bible download that this site has for free. I am a Catholic and I was just told that I should get the Catholic Bible. I think there are more but the New Jerusalem one is the one everybody in my new Bible study group is getting 🙂
