I know this might seem odd, or self-absorbed, but I just want to share it with other Catholics, see how they feel, etc. It’s also not meant as critical of anyone on this forum.
As I see the advice constantly given about talking to your priest, calling the parish, or the socializing among parish groups, I’m struck by the fact that, deep down, the last place I’d ever turn to for help would be the Church. As much as I hate to admit it, if I were physically ill, the last thing I’d do would be to call the parish I go to, or contact any priest or deacon or anyone from any group I know of. I just wouldn’t. I couldn’t stomach doing it.
I don’t know what else to say. I’m not sure what to say.
