Bear with me for a second here… My nephew is a barrel of laughs and loved by all. He always has a funny story or a quick one liner that gets a room to giggling. Among his little bag of tricks is his ability to allow a living room full of family and regular guests to hear the unmistakable and often quite loud squeek of intestinal gas while he is in the kitchen… *which is acoustically inclined to amplify even the tiniest whisper due to the laminate flooring and sparse furnishings! *
The nervous chuckling of some, and outright inability for certain guests to contain themselves in laughter only provides fuel for his next performance which is usually a clean joke, or magic trick with coins for the kids.
Are his “intestinal antics” or our encouraging this by laughing at (or with) him sinful in any way?
