What is wrong with these bishops?? It’s starting to **** me off!

I really do hope Pope Benedict XVI becomes canonized one day. :gopray2:
 
First the Austrian episcopal clergy try and tell the Holy Father what to do and say he is wrong in nominating a Bishop, now not so subtle rebellion from Welsh and English Bishops.
Is there are quiet anti-Benedict XVI movement in the clergy or is it just the dying gasps of the liberal left?
 
You simply don’t get it. Do you. The Pope is going to Africa. Hopefully he will get with the Bishops of the Coptic and Ethiopian Orthodox church, and find out who his true friends are. Most of the western Bishops, his flock, have betrayed him!!. His true friends.

These bishops did do anything to the Pope. I didn’t find their summary to be a misrepresentation of the Pope’s letter. If anything the article linked to is a misrepresentation of the bishop’s summary. The article claims the summary focuses “on the apology and the offence caused to Jews - in effect, rubbing the Holy Father’s nose in the business.” The summary did no such thing, half of the summary discussed the Pontiff’s emphasis on reconciliation and unity within the Church.
