I am pretty sure that Catholics consider the Church- the New Israel-, and not the secular state of Israel as the beneficiary of any Biblical promise.
Many Jews, and evangelical Christians too, may disagree, but by and large I do not think that Catholics are encouraged to support the state of Israel as the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.
Personally, I support the State of Israel because it a good and worthy achievement for the world and for Jews especially, who are our elder brothers, as described by John Paul II. From a secular point of view, Israel is indeed a shining light that the neighboring Arab states could learn much from, if only they would swallow their pride and emulate rather than destroy.
But ever since our own Jewish eldest brother, Jesus, adopted us into the family, the promises of God to Abraham and Jacob and Isaac include us. The prophecies are for us. Satan will not prevail against the new Israel, the eternal Catholic Church.
