I haven’t. But perhaps I am privileged to have managers for which I haven’t had to say that; my managers have always felt more like peers that have taken the role of coordinating actions. Also I never hear anyone in my environment refer to someone over them in the company hierarchy a “boss.” That term might be more common when a certain type of management style is used. Referring to a coworker as a “moron” or insulting them would likely result in disciplinary action; how we get along with other people is part of our performance evaluation.

But every environment is different.

It is interesting that we have 4 books( Comey, Wolf, Omarosa, & Woodward ) now written that have been released or about to be released that do not favor Trump at all. Has there been one book yet since Trump has taken office that is favorable toward Trump?
 
I just noticed the the audio version of the book is available for pre-order.

I went ahead and pre-purchased it on Audible with this month’s subscription credit. This book should be interesting.
 
I have had no interest in the 3 previous books, but since this one is by the Author of “All the Presidents Men”, then I am inclined to buy it.
 
Let me just say that Bob Woodward is “top shelf” all the way as he heavily documents his research. One of my favorite thrills is having a short conversation with him about 30 years ago when I was on a study in D.C. for a week.

To put it another way, if Woodward says “X happened”, you can put your money on it.
 
I was being a little facetious, although to be honest I have called the upper management at my workplace such things. I don’t think I’ve ever claimed they had a grade school child’s understanding of the world, however.
 
He is on a higher level than Wolf, that’s for sure (who in turn is on a higher level than Omarosa).

There are tons of people who though Hillary was entitled to the presidency. When she didn’t get it there was a big gaping wound. There are plenty of people who have no problem making money by exploiting that wound. Right here on this thread there have several who are just salivating to hear something bad about Trump. I think ucfengr is right Woodward has just become a gossip columnist. This is reminding me of a Kitty Kelley biography of RR.

No one ever expected him to say anything positive about Trump so the reaction really becomes a big “Whatever…”

No matter what Bob Woodward writes Trump still goes on naming federal judges. That’s what I hired him to do. Not to get Bob Woodward’s approval.

Exactly! There are tons of people who are going to jump on a chance for someone to tell them what they want to hear. There is a market for these books. That’s why it’s not really that interesting that there are four them. The payoff is home in Georgetown and a summer home in Annapolis.

She beat me to it by what looks like a few minutes. Don’t assume negative things about people to the extent you can avoid it.

I believe Manigault’s book and Jarrett’s book have both had the top spot on the NYT best seller list.

Except if, as in the case of Mattis, his “documentation” is false, he’s not even on a shelf. He’s just one more scandal-monger like Manigault. But Manigault’s phony book surely at least has a lot of sex in it and isn’t any tedious 448 pages long. I’m guessing a lot of Dems will buy Manigault’s book, read it then put it in a closet. A lot will buy Woodward’s book and not read it but keep it conspicuously on the coffee table. 🙂

Given the odd manner of dissemination of the comments ascribed to them denying material in Woodward’s book, I think that it is not entirely clear that that the denials came from them. That would put Trump in the position of lying. Maybe the denials are real, but have yet to see something that could not so readily be faked.

You’re resisting the only evidence there is, and there’s no shortage of it. Are you going to require that Mattis, for example, personally come to your door, present his ID and give you a statement?

Woodward appears to have gone pitiful for one last bit of fame and money. He really was a journalist once. But “hate Trump” books are the cheapest genre there is right now. He opted for the lowest saleable commodity in the public venue besides sex.
