Notice that it’s the Fox-supporters mantra that some label Fox as miraculously being superior than the NYT and the WaPo. Maybe in some sort of alternative universe it is, but no one who is serious about their news would ever make such a claim.

Fox is owned by Murdock, and I think we all know where Murdock was coming from when he started Fox, which he stated publicly, btw.

Are we next to hear how accurate and fantastic the National Enquirer is?

Forbes is too full of frippery, shallow articles and endless lists of people who have “made good” in, e.g., the upscale restaurant business in New York, to be really interesting, though I do subscribe to it for now. WSJ is great in many more ways. But even WSJ can only go so far in an article, and is not typically written by principals or, e.g., Fed officers. And certainly there has been nothing in the Journal quite like Bartiromo’s hours-long interview with the Saudi crown prince.

I’ll confess that I sometimes follow the recommendations of Charles Payne and have never lost money on one yet, so perhaps that colors my judgment a little.

But you’re entitled to your opinion about such things, as am I.
