Oh, great, something else to look forward to. The Catholic high school in my neighborhood just closed at the end of the school year this spring. Moving the campus to a location in the suburbs, miles away, while also raising the tuition to pay for the new building. The reason given was that was where the students were. Really? Miles away? What about the students in this working class neighborhood?

Why does the Catholic Church encourage you to send your children to a Catholic school for a Catholic education, but make that Catholic education too expensive and too hard to get to for working class people? 😦
