Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) is soaring in New Hampshire, leading his Democrat counterparts in the Granite State, a Saint Anselm College Survey Center poll released Tuesday revealed.

Buttigieg, who has experienced a significant boost in Iowa in recent weeks, is also soaring in New Hampshire, a poll released Tuesday indicated.

The survey, taken November 13-18, 2019, among 255 likely Democratic primary voters, showed Buttigieg leading the pack with 25 percent support – a full ten points ahead of former Vice President Joe Biden (D) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), both of whom garnered 15 percent support. . . .

. . . and 91 percent would discourage 2016 nominee Hillary Clinton from running again.”

The poll comes on the eve of the fifth Democrat primary debate in Atlanta, which will bring the top four contenders – Warren, Sanders, Biden, and Buttigieg – on the same stage once again.
.

I notice also that Congresswoman Gabbard has three times the support that Kamala has here (3% to Kamala’s mere 1%).

Kamala was making fun of Congresswoman Gabbard earlier in the election on Gabbard’s low poll numbers.

I wonder if Kamala is now going to
make fun of her own campaign
for numbers now lower than Gabbard’s (at least here)
as her own campaign continues to fizzle out?

Mayor Pete Buttigieg is now the frontrunner in the state of Iowa, according to a new poll released by the Des Moines Register.

The poll shows Buttigieg leading the pack of 2020 Democrats with 25 percent of the vote — nine points ahead of second-place candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Former Vice President Joe Biden is now in third place with 15 percent of the vote, as well as Sen. Bernie Sanders. Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota is in fifth place with six percent.

Sen. Cory Booker, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Sen. Kamala Harris, Tom Steyer, and Andrew Yang are all tied with about three percent. . . .

. . . Michael Bloomberg only has two percent. . . .

Harris’ drop seemed, IMHO, to coincide with Gabbard destroying Harris in the first debate. The fact that Gabbard is polling higher must be salt in the wound to Harris.

Good to see a more moderate Gabbard on the stage tonight.

Yes, he has done well in some state polls, I’m seeing a different story nationally BUT… if he did not have his leftist background and dare I say some other factors of his personality, if he was more center, he doesn’t seem to be that bad of guy. I actually know some big supporters of his. They are very nice people. He might be able to pull an upset and get the nomination.

Are we as Catholics actually going against our teaching if we vote for someone of his orientation? Anyway, he’d need to dump his pro-choice view, just like any candidate I would vote for. Must lean pro-life but he does seem too be a genuinely nice guy.

It must be (salt in Harris’ wounds).

I wonder if “Beto” is having “quitter’s remorse”.

Buttigieg came in and sucked up Beto’s voting base voters away from him.

I wonder if Beto is now thinking, . .

. . . "If I would have just pushed back harder in debates, public appearances, etc. against my “voting-base-stealer” (Buttigieg),
and not hit “foul-balls” against much of my own voting base
(with his gun-taking-away scheme against law-abiding Americans and anti-religion rhetoric),
I could be hitting a “home run” now with the voters
(“Voters among THAT voter base that Mayor Pete has now “stolen”, that belonged to ME!”)

I edited on about his “orientation”, that should cover it. I’'m not sure what teaching would say about this.
