Our former Congressman was severely ridiculed, when he was still serving in the State Legislature, whenever he put forth the idea that abortion leads to an increased risk of breast cancer. At one point, the Speaker of the State House (of the same party) called him an “absolute idiot,” and the Democrat caucus walked out of the chamber en masse on another occasion when he raised the proposition, while he was speaking.
I guess the truth hurts?
