10 years ago when I wandered around Egypt and Syria I saw many, many women who wore business suits and casual dress, and nobody thought anything of it.

The Muslims who do wear hijab and chador and things like this, at least in the west, do so by choice. It’s the same type of scenario as you see when you go to Israel and see orthodox Jews wearing long coats and thick fur hats in 110 degree weather. It’s a personal choice that serves as an outward expression of faith. Nothing more.

Of course I don’t support the codification of hijab/chador as a civil law which forces women to cover themselves, as that is sexist and degrades females, but this happens only (as I gather) in Saudi Arabia and Iran. Even Kuwait recently made it voluntary, according to the media.

Yesterday in our Saudi TV, they were discussing a new type of marriage we have, called “Msyar” which is authorized in Saudi Arabia, where the man can drive by the women’s house to perform sex then leaves for his original house, I heard a really frustrating story where a man married through Msyar marriage a women at around 6:00pm then divorced her at 10:00pm of the same day, how is that nice, a four hours sex marriage!, it was really a sad story to hear, and the problem that they were discussing that in our main TV channel, now every brainwashed man will run to make the same thing, what type of sex religion is that. :banghead:

if a man divorces his wife 3 times, she must marry someone else before returning back to her busband. This is not related to neither Judaism nor Christianity because God says about this specific thing : abomination.
