Dear Liberalcatholic, since you asked…Oi, I shoulda been Dear Abby…if I were you and had a few coins floating in my pockets that I didn’t know what to do with, I’d take the old fashioned cure, to the vocation crisis…go on an extended pilgrimage and ask God during that time away. I hear way back when folks did the pilgrimage thing to find answers to just such questions. Perhaps a month of wandering from Church to Church in a foreign country, asking in prayer the whole time…might just be the experience of a lifetime.

My priest/spiritual director had trougle in the seminary and had to leave for three years. (He is ordained for 36 years now) He too wanted to hear God’s answer for him and went from church to church in Europe and ended up in Israel and received his answer there…🙂
