This morning the Vatican announced Pope Benedict XVI’s decision to name James S. Wall as the new Bishop of Gallup, New Mexico, USA.

The diocese had been vacant since the resignation of Bishop Donald Edmond Pelotte, S.S.S. in April 2008.
