I am not sure what you mean. The investigation of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR), whose members represent about 95% of Catholic sisters in the US, met with anger from that organization and some of its constituents. Some painted it as an inquisition. And they made their unhappiness known to the press.

Fr. Joe Tobin has the approval of the LCWR. So his appointment as the #2 person at the Vatican overseeing religious life may well be an attempt to soothe ruffled feathers.
