Below is 1 Timothy 3:15 from the Jehovah Witness bible, 2013 edition

15 but in case I am delayed, so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in God’s household, which is the congregation of the living God, a pillar and support of the truth.

Compared to the RSVCE

15 if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.

Can anyone provide the Greek text for the JW words congregation, a and support verses the Catholic words Church, the and bulwark? How bad is there translation on these words?

15 ἐὰν δὲ βραδύνω, ἵνα εἰδῇς πῶς δεῖ ἐν οἴκῳ θεοῦ ἀναστρέφεσθαι, ἥτις ἐστὶν ἐκκλησία θεοῦ ζῶντος, στῦλος καὶ ἑδραίωμα τῆς ἀληθείας.

ἐκκλησία “means called out ones” It can be translated assemby or congregation.
JW’s do not refer to themselves as a church but as a congregation, partly because of this verse.

Jw’s will want to convince you that the word “church” is evil because of its etymology
