And, you know that something happened prior to the video that caused the biker to confront the driver (by cutting him off and slowing down)
That’s the part of the story missing. What in the world could that guy have possibly done for his hand to call for all that. Absolutely nothing. Unless he committed a felony or something I can’t see why the rodeo of road rage took place.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death
Amen.

He didn’t do anything to “provoke” the motorcyclist to stop short - the rider was trying to force a stop so they could rob him. The rider looked through the window and saw the husband, the wife and small child in an expensive car and selected his victim.

Actually there are several media sources with similar stories and varying information on those involved. Basically they were a gang of thugs looking for easy money - a rich guy in a Range Rover with his wife and kid looked like it.
Show a source that is not a tabloid.

Doesnt exist.

It may be true, or not. We don’t know yet what happened.

Source please - and not a tabloid.

Unreal, just unreal. And people wonder whats wrong with us in America and why we refuse to listen to the nonsense about gun control.

We don’t know yet. So why engage in conjecture.

The only reason why I am arguing this is that I don’t want all motorcycle enthusiasts to be tarred by the same brush.

So until we know we don’t know nothin’

We don’t know that this is the case.

The driver could just as easily clipped or hit one of the riders prior to this. We don’t know.

You charging someone else with conjecture is kind of funny.

And its getting boring. Source for this claim?

No one is tarring all enthusiasts, but blindly defending this makes motorcycle enthusiasts look bad.

None of this is going to turn out well for these bikers. And anyone who rides that film ought to be mandatory viewing to everything you shouldn’t do on a motorcycle.

They were riding abreast, wanton lane changes, wrong lanes. passing in the right lane. Wow, they broke every road rule established, and the guy ran over was in the right lane.

According to the FoxNews article,

“NYPD confirmed the arrest of a biker who they say was involved in the initial accident. Christopher Cruz, 28, was charged with reckless endangerment, menacing, reckless driving and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17. Cruz, who was uninjured, was in custody awaiting arraignment Tuesday”

So, we have a biker (Christopher Cruz) out of control, who gets hit because he is driving recklessly and menacingly, and he eventually gets arrested by the police because of his conduct . But, when the innocent car driver (innocent, police did not charge him) who hit the biker pulls to the side, then the other bikers swarm him and start banging on his car with their helmets? Are they all a bunch of madmen, or what?? Why couldn’t these other bikers behave as civilized people?

That’s common practice with “group” riding. Along with running red lights/stop signs and illegal turns all in attempt to stay in one herd. I used to ride too - but never felt the urge to get in a group of 20 or 50 or 100 where my safety is endangered by any number of morons that could be in the group. I rode mine as transportation not so I could be an individual just like everyone else that had one.

Thank you for being honest about your motive for trying to equate the driver to the motorcyclists absent of any evidence that the driver did anything to bring about the attack.

No hand signals, nothing, passing in between cars, just out and out rogue riding. You would think they were on a motocross track and the rest of the world was in their way. :).

I’ve read many newspaper accounts that state these bikers routinely obstruct traffic in order to hijack a whole section of roadway for themselves to do their stunt riding. This particular group, on the day of this mayhem, received over 200 police complaints from the public about their obnoxious and unsafe, selfish behavior: excessive speeding, hogging the roads, driving on the sidewalks, etc. Most accounts state that the arrested biker deliberately got in front of the Range Rover and slowed down to allow his buddies to hijack the highway for themselves. Looks like he slowed down too quickly and got rear-ended. Boo-hoo. His comrades surrounded that car like a pack of wolves. I would have run them down, too. No sympathy here. You reap what you sow. Mob mentality is becoming a huge thorn in the side of society.

Where does it say they were trying to stop the car in order to rob it?

I’m saying don’t pre-judge anyone without the facts. We don’t know all the facts.

It’s not rocket science.

Secondly it’s easy to go from pre-judging in one situation to vilifying a whole class of people.

These people weren’t representative of motorcycle riders, or range rover drivers… whatever the facts

Not defending anyone - seems you don’t read my posts.

Show me one line where I defend any party,
