New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says the country will not have open borders with the rest of the world for “a long time to come”.

Ms Ardern was speaking after attending part of Australia’s cabinet meeting via video link.

The meeting discussed a possible “trans-Tasman bubble”, where people could go between Australia and New Zealand freely, and without quarantine.
I am sure she will be heavily criticized for this NOT!

Curious if the usual cast of CAF’ers will find this xenophobic?

Prime Minister Abe of Japan this morning said we are all probably in for a lifestyle change for quite some time in the future. That’s a shame, it will be a cross to bear, things are not going back to how they were. We all must make sacrifices I gather.

Australia and New Zealand have always had strong ties and both have had a lot of success in cutting the number of coronavirus cases…I’m sure both countries will work together in keeping safety issues in place.

Look at it as a pro life lesson.
Overwhelmingly the Pro-life Catholic, declares his righteousness, but does not have to choose to have the baby of rape or incest and all of the attendant things.
Now we face pro life, and a mask and staying in is involved. For many, economic hardship. Yet these are the real consequences in choosing life we take for granted. A good chance for everyone to reflect on others AND THE INTRINSIC VALUE AND DIGNITY of human life.
