Or at least that is the question I would like to examine. Specifically:

Which one of the following statements come closest to your views about the origin and development of human beings? Humans developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life, but God guided this process (or) Humans developed over millions of years from less advanced forms of life, but God had no part in this process (or) God created humans pretty much in the present form at one time within the last 10,000 years or so?

It’s interesting to see that it’s pretty much split as far as catholics go in that poll, God used evolution vs God created in present form. It’s also interesting to see how evangelicals voted in that. Sola Scriptura hard at work?

I am shocked and dismayed that so many Catholics chose “created in present form”. Before I joined CAF I wasn’t even aware there was such a thing as a Catholic creationist.

Only 2 people voted for that. And not everyone at CAF is a Catholic.

I’ll just vote for, not sure. Not there are not plausable arguements, it doesn’t matter what I believe. What happened is what happened regardless of what I believe. What might be of more use it to understand how it could happen, and that study can be worth what comes of it.

I would have voted, but “I don’t know” wasn’t an option. 😃
