I doubt Newt will ever win the nomination but I will ask this question:
Let’s say the only choices we had to vote for the next President is:

I agree too and on a personal level I would feel better with a real Catholic in office than even Palin, but couldn’t his age be a factor the way they made it a factor with McCain?

JJ, Obama supports abortion whenever and wherever it is CHOSEN. That makes him “pro-abortion” in my book. It’s great to know that Obama does not support abortion when it is not chosen. Except maybe in China, I reckon!
It’s amazing the rationalizations that supporters of BO will come up with to deny that their hero pols really do not support the killings. Let’s say that they are comfortable with the status quo. Can we agree that at the least, the Democrat Party is unwilling to lift a finger to save one child’s life, if that child is scheduled for slaughter by its host (mother)?

But what else would you call him? And why shouldn’t pro-life people fear him? His first act as President was to revoke the Mexico City policy. He’s eliminated the Sanctity of Human life day. He voted against the BIPA equivalent. He doesn’t want his children “punished” with a child.
Obama makes no bones about being opposed to any restriction on abortion. And in the books of pro-life people, that is no different than being pro-abortion.
It appears you put other issues besides the lives of unborn children before others. You’d rather have Obama because he’s aligned politically, economically, and socially with you. You’ve claimed in the past to be pro-life, but apparently pro-life comes in second to these other issues.

I think if you do the research, you will discover that Obama voted for partial birth abortion while in the state senate. Also, during his campaign, he told Planned Parenthood, that he wanted his daughters to have the right of having an abortion… this is all indicators that he is in fact - PRO-ABORTION…

That’s not the story.
He voted AGAINST the requirement that additional doctor(s) be in the delivery room in case the fetus was not dead after being removed.
