Nickelodeon's first animated gay couple

I’m boycotting Nickelodeon in general. They only have two shows I let my kids watch: Paw Patrol and Blaze & the Monster Machines.

Other shows like Sponge Bob are terrible

Is it a kids show? I haven’t heard of it and was hoping it was geared towards adults like the Simpsons or the one where Kenny dies all the time and I cannot remember it’s name.

I hope it isn’t for kids.

It’s a new cartoon, i think. Pretty sure it’s for kids. Many people were having a meltdown on social media and there are some people who are defending it saying that kids watch straight couples all the time etc
 
The show is called “The Loud House,” which I have been watching for a few weeks. I really enjoy it, it’s the best Nicktoon I’ve seen in years. Having a gay couple is unfortunate and concerning, but as long as they are a rare presence, then I’ll live with it. The show is about a boy living with 10 sisters, so that’s what they should be focusing on.
 
I used to watch Nickelodeon, too. This indoctrination will take it too far one day and people will finally recognize it in general, not just on place such as this.
 
This is leftist indoctrination. They want the whole world to submit to their agenda. This goes along with the tenet of world revolution. It is applied to Cultural Marxism in this case. I wonder if Trump will stop this madness.
 
Entertainment has such a soft spot for homosexuals.

EDIT: And as the tweet states, it’s “time to make history.” It’s all about the feels about “making history.” Too bad this “making history” is one pathetic way to make history. If it “makes history” (their kind) then no doubt The Left will support it.
 
Good for Nickelodeon! My kids love Nick and I’ll have to check out this show.
Gay couples exist folks, we’re your friends, neighbors and family. It makes perfect sense to show children and teach them about kindness, diversity and different types of families.

When was the last time a kids show had openly religious characters (bonus points for religious character in any show that isn’t a stereotype)? I mean they do exist folks. But I guess that is too controversial. I can’t help but feel some double standards from these holier-than-thou comments.

Good point…like on the Simpson’s (which I no longer watch) they go overboard with Flanders and his faith.

We don’t need gay couples on cartoons…EVER

They’re just very close friends. In one episode they take care of an abandoned baby clam until it can fly away on its own. Patrick was the “dad” and SpongeBob was the “mom.” As a child, I never saw that as gay, it seemed to me like they were playing house. It was just for laughs and some subliminal adult humor that would go over kids’ heads.

Very true! It makes me mad that showing a gay couple is okay, but G*d forbid we have a cartoon featuring a devout Catholic family, (that isn’t satire.)
