Well of course it didn’t you are simply using your God given common sense, and if something is obviously absurd to you think how much more absurd it is to God? When the serial killer faces God and says “but the murders I commited were no worse than the guy who stole a candy bar” God will say “yeah O.K. pal, here’s your reward… Mr. candy bar stealer I can’t believe it the worst thing you’ve ever done is steal a candy bar welcome to Heaven”. God isn’t a fool if we have sense enough to see the difference quite clearly, think how much more God will be able to fairly judge?I also saw a serial killer on tv asking the reporter which sin was greater: stealing a candy bar or murder someone, the reporter answered murder someone. the murderer said no, all sins are the same. all because some preacher went to his prison and tought him this. that didnt sit very well with me.
As far as the statement a repentant murderer is better off than a one time unrepentant apple thief I completely disagree.
