No NASCAR tombstones allowed in Catholic cemetaries? Bummer, man

That puts a damper on my Top Gear headstone plans, I guess.
 
It really doesn’t look that bad. When I first read about the story, I expected someting far more obnoxious. Minus the white mark on the front and the “nascar” stripe on top, it really doesn’t look any different from a regular headstone with a little extra color.

I had the same thoughts I was expecting something outlandish

She knew ahead of time it wouldn’t be allowed. Her fault.

That being said, I’d be just fine with the monument as presented in the photo (though maybe not to the tune of $10,000).
 
Wow! Does this mean I can’t be buried in a Sprint car? Double bummer!
