It’s the first day of spring and we had a mixture of snow and sleet all day. We got about 2 inches of snow.

A nor’easter is headed our way and is arriving tonight/tomorrow. Tomorrow, it’s supposed to snow all day and we’re expecting 8 to 14 inches of snow. Hopefully the man in our neighborhood who usually shovels our snow shows up and we’ll have enough money to pay him whatever he asks.

🙏

This was last week.(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

Notice I already put the patio umbrella up, far right, silly me.

Got my car stuck in the parking lot! Made it to the grocery store, made it into the parking lot back, got stuck trying to maneuver in the gravel lot. Still didn’t get my car into an actual parking space, but it’s out of the way enough if someone really needs to get out. There’s not many people anyway so most of them know whose door to bang on if there’s an issue.

Here in Denver, we are well under half of our normal snowfall to date. We’ve had lots of cold, and lots of warmth – that’s normal. But we’ve had so little snow, and our mountain snowpack (our water supply) is also way below average. Gonna be a rough summer unless we have some huge storms (snow or rain) this spring.

Please send your extra snow our way, thanks.

We are getting some snow here in Minnesota! Been a harsh winter.

We are actually expecting flash flooding today and tomorrow.

I hope you came out of it ok TigerLily?

Everyone around us got it. But Nashville was spared, thank God.

I turn the heat on when it’s in the 60s! It has to get to 70 F. for me to shut it off.

We got 12 inches or so. I hope my appointment in town is not cancelled.

It’s going to be mid forties today so the roads will be good to go.

LOL

You would hate my house. It’s set at 62 during the day. 58 at night.

I broke up with a man because he kept his house too cold. I just could not go over there to watch TV, play music, etc. and be freezing. His house would be colder than the outside air! Without air-conditioning! He had heavy draperies that he kept closed all the time to keep the sun out, and he had a lot of insulation against the heat. I’ve sat outside in 100 F. weather and been comfortable, so his house was not the place for me! I would sit on the sofa wrapped in a blanket to watch a movie on TV with him.

I can’t stand being cold. We keep our thermostat set at 68.

I would be more bothered by the closed drapes, lol! Let the sunshine in! ☀️

The darkness in his house bothered me, too. It could be a bright, sunny day out, as it usually is here (though not today), and one would need a light on in his house. It was very uncomfortable. He wasn’t a vampire! I don’t know what his problem with sun and heat was. I guess he just didn’t like them.
