Bernie Sanders protested discrimination against minorities in the sixties and was arrested. I cannot think of one instance before he became president when Trump show a scintilla of concern about the status of minorities in the US. And, yes, he did begin his career discriminating against minorities in housing.

So he can find some black folks looking for a photo-op with him and possibly some sort of handout. But I’m not surprised his support numbers among all minorities remains low.

Seeing that the majority of black folks are Democrats, that party does not have to do ‘outreach’. With the paucity of any minorities in the GOP it would be well-advised to do some serious outreach to under-represented blocs.

Where are single-parent homes now compared to before Johnson’s New Society? Out-of-wedlock births? It’s just the stats that no one can dispute.

And where will a 12% minority be if a massive amnesty were granted?

I’d not forget stats like out-of-wedlock births and single-parent homes and how they have grown over the past 55 yeas. Those are stats too.

Something is being done wrong.

Exactly, what is the DNC doing for them?

I am not sure what the post of such stats are on this thread, but it is always good to have command of the facts.

You were posting above some figures. I think these facts have plenty to do with this thread:

NPR, National Public Radio reports and admittedly from 2005:
Forty years ago, a government report on the state of the black family in America warned that almost one out of four black children were born to unmarried mothers. Recent figures suggest that now, almost 70 percent of black children are born out of wedlock.

Plus, African Americans are about 12% of the population. Imagine if wide-scale amnesty was given out to those not in this country legally.

This (from Nepperhan) is yet another example of taking your vote for granted.

This is EXACTLY the kind if wrong attitude that the Black conservatives abhor (among other things) from the national leftist ideas (that Nepperhan has picked up and internalized).

That and how those guys’ leaders, think
it is OK to premeditatively murder Black Americans
with the blessing of their Government . . . .
. . . As long as those Black Americans are pre-born.

If enough blacks abandon the Democratics that party will go the way of Whigs. That’s why if they take power it’s open borders and amnesty for the up to 30 million (not my number but a Yale study) illegals now here, with the goal of replacing the lost black votes with other voters. Even if blacks don’t abandon the party the Democrats will still push for at least amnesty if not open borders, especially someone like Sanders.
