Non-Catholic has trouble with Catholic college roommate

Wow, Mindy. I hate to say it, but if the parents of your roommate are like a lot of the people on this forum, you’re in for a tough ride. There’s a thread on Family Life about a family party with a homosexual relative, and it may make your skin crawl. There’s another thread on the child of lesbian parents who was rejected from Catholic school in Oregon.

How does that thread make your skin crawl? I wouldn’t go either. We should not support a ‘union’ like that and let children think its ok to be a homo.

As far as the Oregon Catholic school is concerned, its just a way to get attention, possibly for a lawsuit. Why else would you send your child to a school that would tell her that a homo union isn’t right? Unless deep down they know they are wrong.

I am not a homophobia. But there is something about your story and the way you handle your situation that seem disengenous. If it were true, your story would be on the news by now.
