Well, Jesus said that the way is narrow that leads to eternal life, and few are those who find it. He also said that the sign of those who believe him would be miraculous works, and greater works than he did.
So, I doubt that there are very many who actually know God. They are taking the broad way, along with the other two billion christians.
But, it is not that I doubt so much that people won’t end up in heaven. I believe most will. However, the gospel is about entering the kingdom of God, on earth. As, he said 2000 years ago, the Kingdom of God is at hand…

My list of doubts goes on and on; the trigger was human behavior within–not only Catholicism-- but many religions, far and wide.
It all starts with wanting peace and realizing the only way of obtaining. :yup:

I probably should have said that it starts with tolerance and appreciation–even love-- for other religions, opinions, lifestyles, and so on. Realizing that a Christian world is not the same as a peaceful world; as a matter of fact, it would probably be far from it. :sad_yes:

Peace is only obtained through love, understanding, acceptance, and compassion. Peace can’t be found; it’s our job to make it. So, no; peace is not here. Not yet.

Why do you find this to be a rude question? I think that this is a wonderful question for all Christians. I believe that doubt in our faith happens to all of us in our walk with Jesus and allows for growth in our spiritual life with Him. I think that it would be wonderful to hear and share with one another how we progressed through our doubt. Doubt in our Christian walk is not the same as rejecting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.Rude question

It would seem reasonable that the OP should start out with stating those doubts he has about his own faith tradition. That would get the ball rolling. As he said, we all from time to time do doubt our theologies. I’m not sure I doubt Anglican theology much, since it claims no individual theology as such. But I’m new, and perhaps haven’t learned enough yet.

The reason I found the question rude is because, I believe, it presumes that, since non-Catholics do not belong to the Catholic Church, than they must, in their religion, have some doubts as to the truthes they are taught. I believe it would be a better question if asked, simply, ‘What doubts do you have about your religion,’ because than there would no picking on non-Catholics, and it would allow the questioner to post his own doubts as well.

i am the original poster and i wasnt attempting to bait anyone. As i said in my post we ALL have doubts about what we believe and i was merely trying to understand what those are from a non catholic point of view.
