Non-Catholics: What do you find admirable about Catholicism?

Are you talking about the school system that teacher that the United State teachers 57 States. Hey one of our presidential guys had one more state to travel. You must be talking about that… Just a joke I wanted to talk a pun at him.

In government school you would more them likely have problems like that would be believable. Plus they promote people that don’t know history.

We are getting a great at the school system teaching skills with the presidential election. But then that is one topic Catholic Answer has band as a topic.

Relgion school much better with the right teachers.

Now back to topic of what is admirable and what is not.

feeding the hungry clothing the poor people and visiting the prisoners is being done by the Orthodox Church.

Beyond this show me what is admirable about the RC Church. Please list them for me so that I can see??

I figured since there was a thread asking Protestants what they find oddest about Catholicism, I’d start one asking all non-Catholics what they find admirable about the religion.

For me, the thing I find most admirable about Catholicism is the way they stand up in defense of human life, from conception to natural death. In my opinion this is the most important work they do, esp. in our “culture of death” society.

I’m active in the pro-life movement, and I see firsthand how much committed Catholics do to help rescue the unborn, stop the death penalty, help the homeless and the poor, and end other forms of injustice.

What I like most about the Catholic Church are its tradition (not Tradition!), its historicity, and its consistency.

Is that to me you are asking this? I am from Canada not the USA, so you would have to explain what you are talking about…
Beyond that, you say?.. Well, right here, I have just come back in better dispositions towards you. And I happen to be Catholic! Isn’t that something? I think our Lord is very good… And what the Lord called a good thing, don’t call it a bad thing!!

As for making a list about the good things the RC did, you can consult the Lives of the Saints and those of contemporary saints.
As far as sainthood is concerned, I prefer to compete against myself to become better and better rather than trying to become better than the people around me, which could be a rather egoistic thing to do. I also want to recognize the good that’s being done around me, even in the kind words of encouragement that some from these threads send me at times. How are we going to be truly brothers and sisters in Christ if we always fight against each other and say bad things against those of other groups… Jesus Himself prayed that we be one in Him. He desires it. He wants it. Won’t we make efforts to fulfill His very will?

Obama said that he had travel 57 States of the U.S.A. and had one more to go. You would need to look at how many times he puts his shoe in his mouth.

Listen to him when he not reading a TelePrompTer. This you have to see.

The man can’t put two words together. He evern sees dead people walking I’m not kidding.
