are you the OP? i indicated that it wasn’t a video game. you could have ignored the post. if it is so far off topic everyone could have ignored the post and that would have been the end of it.

Off topic posts are to be flagged as off topic. Just because we didn’t start a post dosn’t mean that we can’t care about the rules and remind people to follow them.

They’re not horrible for me. Less than a minute no matter what I’m doing. It may be because I don’t have a whole lot besides that game on my computer, though.

I have had good times with the Sims 1-3 though. Those games…have major cruelty potential.

i did indicate it was off topic by stating it wasn’t a video game

Those were the best of the series, I think. I liked how crazy the first two games were. If I remember correctly, you could have rockets on your lot and launch them (at what, I don’t know). I also liked that you could go to work with your sims (and not need to download a $19.99 addon to do so).

All the Age of Empires, and especially Age of Mythology were borderline addictions (Though I wasn’t a child at the time.)

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is my favourite from the N64 era. Honourable mention to Mario Kart.

From the C64 days, Lode Runner, Jumpman, Summer Games, Wizard, Gateway To Apshai, Archon, and M.U.L.E.

Ohhh I forgot about Age of Empires. I played that with my uncle. I quite liked that. I think it was the second one that allowed you to create utterly ridiculous maps, starting scenarios and others. Now that was fun.

Do you know any legit way of playing it on a Mac today without spending a fortune?

I was a HUGE Q*bert player back in the day. We had it for our ColecoVision (remember those)? On one occasion I got the score to roll over (it only went up to 999,999 points).

I have a Q*bert CD-ROM kicking around somewhere …

No such thing as video games in my childhood, lol! Not invented yet!

I think the first video game I ever played was Pac-Man World II. That was a blast. I also got pretty good at the original Pac-Man arcade game. Got pretty far too.
I logged quite a few hours on Sonic Heroes and Lego Star Wars (the first one).
And then Star Wars Battlefront II came out. Good grief that was fun.

For real nostalgia, you should go way back.

Pong
Oh yeah, we had this. If I recall correctly, we had a wood panel looking Pong console with two controller dials that we used to hook up to our black and white tv. I can still hear it in my head: blip… blip… blip.

Yes, I am that old.

Super Mario World on the SNES. Soooo many fond memories! 😀
I was around with the SNES, friends had it, but our family could not afford it…and our TV did not support it. It wasn’t until the N64 when our cousins could bring it to our house to play.
