Notre Dame Protester Ready to Choose Family over Fighting

The matter is not “out of his hands.” Anything he says to the Court by way of testimony or letter will - if the process is fair - be considered. Further, he has not made any changes in policy as far as future protests of the same kind. That act suggests, at least, that he is very satisfied with the ongoing proceedings.

Apparently it still hasn’t sunk in with him that the CC teaches something and that something isn’t allowed on the campus of what used to be a Catholic University, but is now a secular university using a Catholic name.

His actions have effects. Two local students (I don’t know them but know the families) turned down their acceptance to Notre Dame based only on this singular event and will attend other universities instead. If it’s happening here, I’m sure others are thinking that way too, and I’m sure over time their funding will feel the pinch from it.
 
Fr. Jenkins says that the prosecution of the protesters is out of his hands???!?!

What a filthy, cruel, self-serving, legalistic, hateful, dismissive lie! One word from Fr. Jenkins, and this mockery of justice would instantly collapse. Yet, he washes his abortion-stained hands.

Are these the actions of a presbyter of the Church, to persecute those who testify to Church teachings?
