In that first sentence, I commented on the value of education. This is your direct quote:
“Surely, as a priest, the man brings a level of education that is of value, when an a point is enhanced by education. However, anecdotal remains anecdotal and poor logic can still remain poor logic.”
You refer directly to him in the first sentence, which can lead readers to believe that the second is also your opinion about him. Not attacking you, but this is what it looked like to me and why I said what I did.
Of course I am not going to contact him. That is not what we are about here. It is why these megaposts of blogs are discouraged in the forum rules, for those that choose to abide by them. We are supposed to discuss, not just rob from others. If everyone will note in the rules, one is supposed to only post small sections of blogs and link the rest. If I wanted to post on somebody’s blog, that is where I would be instead of here.If you are having trouble understanding his writings then I believe the Christian thing to do would be to contact him directly and discuss it further with him personally. This would avoid causing any speculation of his intentions or backbiting.
This is the last I will write on this.
FYI - Let us not fall into the same trap here. The OP stated that everyone who did not see things his way was demonic or insane. One also should not assume that one who does not see like you is lacking in understanding. Such statements make not sense unless one thinks himself as the authority in such matters. If you are having trouble understanding his writings then I believe the Christian thing to do would be to contact him directly and discuss it further with him personally.
