That’s a big wild pig. Those things are ugly as heck, but they are delicious!

The only priests that find Fr. Corapi intimidating are the ones who fail to teach/preach the truth.

I went to hear Father Corapi this past weekend. He was great! For those of you who have the chance to see him before he stops appearing publicly, go!

I’m not sure about " ideological mistakes", but nobody’s perfect, I’m sure even Sheen (he isn’t really canonized, is he?) misspoke on rare occasion.

I once heard Fr. Corapi say (paraphrasing), “Jesus received half his genetics from Mary, his Mother. They shared blood.”
No mother and child actually shares blood; the placenta filters everything and the baby may even have a different blood type. He may have been speaking in a general sense, I’ll grant that.

Sounds to me like he deserves a break. It must have been awfully difficult doing all that traveling. Think of the millions of air miles he must have racked up!!

How 'bout something more practical, like sending cards with a spiritual bouquet. Y’know, send a card (maybe in c/o EWTN) saying you’ll pray a rosary for him so he will continue to be effective in his ministry?

Bet he’d appreciate that much more than a party.

As a New Zealander, I have come across two US priests who stand head and shoulders above any I have heard. They are Fr Robert Altier and Fr Larry Richards. :twocents:

Fr Altier doesn’t have the style perhaps but he is solid. They both call black, black; white, white; and sin, sin.

Yes, but Jesus received his human DNA *only *from Mary, therefore His blood must have come totally from her.

I would think this is what he meant.
 
My wife and I were planning to go see Fr. Corapi in New Mexico at the end of this month (Mar 2007). When we called the organizer of the event, she told us that it sold out of tickets in October of '06, and the waitlist was over 300 names long.

There are many DVD/VHS/CD/Tapes avail at www.fathercorapi.com

They’re a little expensive, but worth it if you have some extra $$. I have 5 DVD sets, including the Catechism series, which I’m planning to use as my children’s 9th and 10th grade homeschool RE starting this fall. I’m looking forward to learning a lot from it as well.
