I was surprised a thread had not been started yet.
I watched most of the hearing today. I did not know what to expect.
I do feel OJ was sentenced to more time than was deserved for what happened in
Las Vegas. He has had no discipline problems and sounded like he became an active Baptist while in prison and completed a few classes. He helped with a baseball team.
So I was not upset he was granted parole.
He is 70 now and has lost weight.
I pray he will not break any parole violations. He will really have to watch himself.
He won’t be released until October. So he can start another new chapter of his life.
He mentioned he missed 36 birthdays of his 4 kids in 9 years.
Of course, the families of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman missed more birthdays of their loved ones and will continue to do so.
He still seemed like the same OJ so I hope he will spend the rest of his life just
being a father to his 4 kids and staying out of trouble.
