I actually love hearing all of the posturing etc in the media and elsewhere about this or that (catholic) organization being OK with the rule, or how many Catholics are supposed ot have used or be using contraception blah blah blah

It’s like no one really gets it that this is not a matter of opinion or “majority rules”. This a matter of constitutional right to the free practice of religion.

Frankly I don’t doubt that the evil forces at work will eventually succeed in making these services available - basically free to the user - but they are going to have to find a different method that does not violate the first amendment. Probably something coming directly out of the tax coffers…and then the country can go broke even faster than it is now.

Yes - and also the Divine Mercy Chaplet. In fact, given the sinfulness of the culture, I feel a greater kinship to the DMC these days…

What whatever form works best - DO PRAY.

There are several novena’s online…the rosary being one, that we are being called to pray. This definitely IS our moment…this is our cue, we are being called to put on the armour of God. We are looking at the ideology of evil…pure evil.

Benedictine College is also asking for pledges to pray 1000 Memorares within a year:

And…Priests for life has a prayer they want everyone to pray for 9 days:

And also they have “a million rosaries” novena

I am praying a rosary daily (which I usually do anyway, but I will make sure to get it in)
and also the memorare’s…and the prayer at priests for life only takes a minute to pray…all this doesn’t take a long chunk of time out of you day…about 45 minutes

And yes Nim…I have heard as well that in these times the Rosary is more powerful than ever before. Makes sense actually, because where evil abounds grace abounds even more. We have to remember who wins in the end.

Unbenounced to me until last night (listening to Fr. Pavone’s webcam) Priests for Life and EWTN are also sueing for freedom of speech. I heard that on EWTN but wondered at the time: “Why freedom of speech?” Well, because quiet the opposite of what the President said in his “accommodation” statement on Friday will happen; **these faith based organizations will be required to give informative seminars on the reproductive services offered by their insurance companies. **I specifically remember him saying that the insurance companies would reach out to women employees to offer them these services, so that the organization could relinquish themselves from culpability, and it would be free of charge.

This is a perfect example of: don’t believe what he says, look what he does! He usually does just the complete opposite of what he says.
