From CNN:TRENDING: Axelrod: Obama closing argument 'from his loins’
David Axelrod described the message coming from President Barack Obama days before Election Day as “coming from his loins.”

“I’ve never seen him more exhilarated than he is right now. He believes in what he’s doing. He believes in what he’s fighting for,” Axelrod told reporters Friday after the president’s event in Lima, Ohio. “You can see in the speech that he’s delivering that this is coming from his loins.”
Ewwwww…

So he finally pulled his head out…

From Fox News:
Obama urges voters to take ‘revenge’ on Election Day, Romney team rips ‘terrible’ message
The Romney campaign ripped President Obama after the president suggested Friday that supporters take “revenge” by voting against the Republican nominee.

During a speech in Springfield, Ohio, Obama talked about the Clinton administration and its economic plan that “asked the wealthiest Americans to pay a little bit more.” Then he mentioned Mitt Romney, drawing boos from the crowd.

“No, no, no – don’t boo, vote,” Obama said. “Vote. Voting is the best revenge.”

This is not really anything new. Remember back in 2010?Obama to Latinos: “Punish” Your “Enemies” in the Voting Booth

Can Catholics in good conscience practice artificial birth control?

I would like to discuss your comments about conscience and how you have credibility problems with Mitt Romney. One should follow one’s conscience but it must be formed by Catholic teaching and morality.

While lying is a sin, moral theology would support that its not as serious (proportionate) as murder. E.g. Wife asks husband, “Honey do you think I am fat?” Husband lies and says, “No dear you look beautiful”. Are you suggesting that’s worse than the husband murdering his obese wife?!!

While anyone can have doubts about Mitt’s sincerity, his faults aren’t as serious as Pres. Obama.
I never practiced artificial birth control, even before my conversion in 1985. It was like a common sense thing to me that it was not natural.

One cannot decide another person’s faith formed conscience for them.

Analogy doesn’t work for me. Telling your wife you don’t think she is fat is not going to affect millions of people. A politician’s misleadings can cause immeasurable damages.

When the Church teaches that we cannot do evil so that good can come of it, it does not qualify a measured evil.

I don’t intend on voting for either candidate. I thought you knew that from previous threads.

Rasmussen has Romney either tied or leading in all the swing states.

Polling done by Dick Morris and John McLaughlin pretty much confirm this.
Yes, and where did Rasmussen have them a week ago? They are even tied nationally, where Rasmussen had Romney with a lead only recently.

Dick Morris…check his recent track record…it’s pretty dismal.

John

Unless Obama consistently clears 50% of the vote, he will lose the popular vote in this election.

Under the current spread, Romney will take both the popular vote and easily clear 270.

You just made all my joints creak because I knew everyone of the names you just mentioned…Ouch.
I watch Indians Roundtable on STO. They interview former stars like Mudcat Grant, Mike Hargrove, Bert Blyleven, etc. Great show.

You just grossed me out.

This is the man who was going to unite all Americans?

Rasmussen, which has been most accurate.
Re: Morris…I’m talking about his recent projections as a pollster…look it up…like 2010. James Carville had a good deal to do with Clinton’s electoral success also. BTW, LBJ
I don’t need to look it up. Morris said that republicans shouldn’t set their sights too low, so I think he was willing to shoot for some high numbers like 80-100;.

If you’d recall what Carville wrote, you’d see that both he and Morris gave a range of seats the Rs could have picked up in 2010, which went from about 60-100.

Clinton Administration specifically asked Dick Morris for help, because they knew they were done unless major reforms were made. I don’t know about Carville’s involvement in term 1 post-midterm other than that being from Louisana was important in holding that state in 1996.

That’s why in 1995 he said the era of big government was over.

LBJ inherited the job from JFK. JFK only won because of voter fraud in Illinois and LBJ was “re-elected” probably because people felt sorry about the assassination.
was re-elected and slightly longer that 60 years ago…FDR…again, and again, and again.
That was a different time. No nonsense issues like so-called “gay marriage”, abortion, contraception mandates, health care rationing or unsustainable spending by both parties.

Too bad for us today, that’s for sure.

Ads Pushing for Romney Victory Vary by Area on Abortion Issue It features a woman at her home computer assuring viewers that the former Massachusetts governor “doesn’t oppose contraception at all,” and “thinks abortions should be an option” in some cases.
I’m glad that Romney is at least telling us the truth that he’s pro-abortion and pro-contraception. I thought we can’t vote for presidents who support intrinsic evils.
Unless of course if it’s Romney, then it’s perfectly fine to vote for such a person.👍

Or any other Republican.

John

He might be able to get Jack Lambert here in PA…he’s pretty conservative, and I hear he’s had his distemper shot.
Lynn Swann I think would too. Pennsylvania is another divided state with more than one big city. Pittsburgh has its candidates now … Philadelphia hmm …

I thought of Curt Schilling … but though he was a Phillie for a long time, he seems forever linked to Boston and the Red Sox. He is a Republican but not even he of the bloody sock could swing Massachusetts Mitt’s way this time I don’t think.

I have it! Sly “Rocky” Stallone! They’ve been moving the Rocky statue all over town because of his politics. Hey yo … payback is a … hurtin’ thing, no?
