Has anyone done any research to see how much Planned Parenthood donates to Obama’s campaign? I love how they’re “corralling” us…NOT!

They are hiring a former Catholic to “corral” practicing Catholics into voting for Obama? I can smell the desperation!

Lord, bless and keep øbama and his czars … far away from us.

The CNN article cited by LifeNews is at this link:

LifeNews is an unreliable source of news. The get some things right, but the heavy spin and misinformation distorts so much of their “reporting.”

The Obama administration wants to message its policies to younger Christians, not just Catholics in a fashion analogous to previous outreach by Republican administrations to Jerry Falwell and the Moral Majority. Obama is not the first to value the votes of Christians of various denominations, and this is not just about the Catholic response to HHS policies.

From the CNN article:

A source close to the campaign said the decision to hire a faith-focused staffer was provoked largely by continuing criticism of the administration from America’s Roman Catholic bishops and conservative Catholic organizations.

Looks to me like LifeNews had it right

LifeNews has always been a reliable site for me. More reliable than CNN or the other lib news sites thats for sure.

Michael Wear, hmmm. I’ve a feeling, like Judas…follow the money.

Anybody wanna bet what his “non-denominational” church views are on abortion, homosexual “marriage”, and other “chic” sins, the “cool” churches embrace?

HUGE DIFFERENCE for Catholics. The Moral Majority was on the side of traditional church teachings on social moral issues, esp abortion. Pres Obama stands diametrically opposed to them. If the Church didn’t take the aggressive stand against HHS, you wouldn’t see this.

Obama needs “Catholics” to keep his Death March going.

LifeNews is great (if you’re Pro-Life voter).

I am a anti-abortion voter, but I am also in favor of honesty and truth. LifeNews is often untrue in their reporting. I have no use for them. Take for example this headline. It is misleading. Only in the story do you see, “The presidential campaign of pro-abortion President Barack Obama has hired a new staffer whose job description will be to corral Catholic and Evangelical voters.” This ellision is not accidental. It is deliberate and misleading.

From CNN

Wear, who was raised a Catholic but now attends a nondenominational, evangelical-style church in Washington, has spearheaded White House outreach to evangelicals and has focused on policy issues like adoption throughout Obama’s first term

'Scuse me PNewton but have you read ANY newspaper or even the headline when you open up a web browser? Headlines are DESIGNED to grab people’s attention. The NYT often has extremely misleading headlines that are invariably perjorative with respect to traditional values, religion or conservatives. Read the article and buried near the end is an actual piece of news that is likely not nearly as sensational as the headline. This is a journalistic technique.

Lifenews has an agenda. OK so what? People who read it are likely to share that agenda. They make no excuses for their prolife position. OTOH the NYT, WaPo and many other mainstream papers CLAIM to be NEWS not position oriented when in fact they are often pushing an agenda that they think we are too stupid to figure out.

Now if LifeNews actually posted false information I would be interested to hear about it. But a slanted headline is hardly a lie.

Clearly the Obama administration considers people of faith a thorn in his side and since he used his church for political advantage and making contacts in the black community (his words btw) he assumes like many of the elite that we are total rubes clinging to our God and our guns…all it takes is some supposed person of faith who will put lipstick on that pig of an administration.

I’ve got some ‘news’ for Obama…didn’t work then, won’t work now.

If you are fine with that, it is your business. I do not trust them and believe them unreliable. I resent the heck out of the illogical conclusion that I am less opposed to abortion because I am opposed to the techniques of LifeSite News.
