What has become of this world?
Bless These Brave Protesters.
Entitlements, Unions, other special interests, so these seem to be Obama’s and the DNC’s support and yes, Biden acted in an ugly way the other night that reflects this mindset. And they are not very open for debate.
Heaven help this country.
Yes, it is that time, the time of the end, and each us must now choose who will serve:I can’t help but feel that this is a time of separating people into sheep or goat. When the antichrist will come people will love him at this rate.
“We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has gone through. I do not think that wide circles of the American society or wide circles of the Christian community realize this fully. **We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church**, of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel. This confrontation lies within the plans of divine Providence; it is a trial which the whole Church...must take up. It is a trial of not only our nation and the Church, but in a sense a test of 2,000 years of culture and Christian civilization, with all of its consequences for human dignity, individual rights, human rights and the rights of nations.”
Blessed John Paul II was a wise man. Amen!Yes, it is that time, the time of the end, and each us must now choose who will serve:
Cardinal Karol Wojtyla (then future Pope John Paul II), stated at the Eucharistic Congress, Philadelphia, PA; August 13, 1976, which was two years before he became pope.Code:“We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has gone through. I do not think that wide circles of the American society or wide circles of the Christian community realize this fully. **We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church**, of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel. So yes, there you have it, straight from the top, from the man who would soon become Pope John Paul the Great, and is known also as a mystic.
God bless you.
Not sure I understand you here. My understanding is they did not go in there ‘to get a response so we can have a story.’ They went in there to change their minds, to dissuade them from the evil path they are on, a path that leads straight to hell. Jesus went to the sinners, and we are called to, too. They got the response they wanted and now they have a story out of it.

**Are you in favor of abortion? **Yeah, sure they did.
)I think it has been said that from a theological standpoint, anyone voting for a known abortion supporter is implicitly cooperating with intrinsic evil, which makes the vote a sin and endangers the voters’ soul, so these people were trying to help them find the right path.
No I don’t support abortion.**Are you in favor of abortion? **
(I expanded my post by the way. I added:

God bless you.
OK fine. My bishop warns specifically about voting to support evil, to support ‘teachings of Satan’, teachings that are anti-Gospel, as it endangers one’s soul. And along those lines, another bishop recently advised those Catholics who support/want same-sex marriage to abstain from Communion. Again, that is implicit cooperation with evil.No I don’t support abortion.
A Catholic cannot vote for a pro-choice candidate because of that stance but may in spite of it.
I appreciate the “endangering of the soul” comment though. I’ve spoken with my confessor and read the Bishop’s documents and see no conflict in my support of Obama thank you.

We are all free to do whatever we want in this life, of course. We each individually decide where we will spend eternity.
I will say this, what those pro-lifers did took a lot of courage. I have stood last Sunday and other times with the pro-life signs at the pro-life chain along the sidewalk, and some driving by cursed us out. It can be somewhat frightful. Many drivers waved and did a thumbs up in support though, too.
(And to all those who might think, “I’ll vote for this on Tuesday and then just confess it Wednesday and it’s all good” - I hope they’re regret is sincere because as it says, “God is not mocked.”)
God bless you.

A Catholic can vote for a pro -abortion candidate ONLY if there opponent is more pro -abortion than they areNo I don’t support abortion.

Not true. Because life is the most precious gift of God, preservation of life is our biggest priority. Normally this means that we vote pro-life, but if one believes that the anti-abortion candidate will destroy more lives than abortion does (ala nuclear war or some such), then we must vote against that.A Catholic can vote for a pro -abortion candidate ONLY if there opponent is more pro -abortion than they are
That is your take on it Estobob.A Catholic can vote for a pro -abortion candidate ONLY if there opponent is more pro -abortion than they are
I assure you that those “pro-life” Catholics who are supportive of pro-choice candidates (“despite their pro-choice stance”) have scoured Church documents for any way to justify voting for pro-choice candidates. And, of course, when they have a confessor who backs up their justification, they can breathe a sigh of relief that the millions of dead babies are not on their conscience.A Catholic can vote for a pro -abortion candidate ONLY if there opponent is more pro -abortion than they are
Obama Rally Attendees Spit On, Yell at Pro-Life Protestors

Of course we were greeted with the usual profanities, we were spit upon, we were yelled at, we were harassed by the Obama volunteer team, we were harassed by the police who demanded they had the right to create a special bubble to limit free speech and so much more. Those that did engage with us could never answer a single point we made and just changed the subject or started chanting “four more years”.
Then there were the people who would look at the photos of aborted babies and start cheering like they were at a football game or say things like “I’m hungry”, “yummy” or things I will not repeat in this report. When I was a young teen I asked for a bible rather than rejecting my Christianity. At he time (early 1970s) I was thinking about how life for us Christians in North America was so soft compared to earlier centuries. I often wondered if things would ever change, and what we would do if our position is society changed. Would we be willing to suffer? This is plainly satanic, spitting etc; surely conjured and spewed out by the evil one, from the pit of hell… Only God can fix this crazy world, how far He will let it go down the plug-hole before He takes this earth in hand, only the Almighty knows, and pity help us on that day…
Well, the times they are a changin’. I am only in my mid fifties. When I see what is reported, or often not reported, on the news, or see how the mass media, politicians, etc are perverting our society I wonder if one day I will have to lay down my life for the Gospel. My parents lost friends and family in the Second World War, but that happened in another place. Now the Catholic Church is under attack on our own soil.
If we don’t keep correcting them we run the risk of them leading other poorly cathecized Catholics astray.I assure you that those “pro-life” Catholics who are supportive of pro-choice candidates (“despite their pro-choice stance”) have scoured Church documents for any way to justify voting for pro-choice candidates. And, of course, when they have a confessor who backs up their justification, they can breathe a sigh of relief that the millions of dead babies are not on their conscience.
Will you be able to refute them? That is your take on it Estobob.
Do your Burke and Chaput thing. . . . . . . . .
