Why do you vote GOP?
Quite simple to me, read the platforms of the two major parties. According to Catholic teaching if I choose to vote for this president with a proven track record of full support of abortion on demand, vocal but not yet policy support of same sex “unions”, the religious freedom infringement in the HHS mandate from a policy he had passed and signed in the ACA, support of embryonic stem cell research; all recorded and documented in the public record so none are in question.

Even if I choose to vote for him because of other issues and detest abortion and these other issues fully, I cooperate in these intrinsic evils because it is reasonable that these policies will continue and more work will be done to perpetuate them.

On the other hand, besides in the cases of incest, rape, and life of the mother, the republican platform denounces abortion. So I’ll repeat Paul Ryan’s words, it’s a great start! Also, the defense of marriage act is in the republican platform, they are against embryonic stem cell research and human cloning. So to vote for Romney is less damaging to innocent life, he will stand for the DMA, and also try his policies to get people off of food stamps and welfare and back to work. More people working = less people taking = more tax dollars to the treasury even though rates will come down. This is Economics 101.

The negative I keep hearing is the “social justice” issues, here is where I ask you who are planning to continue to support Obama, where do you see proof that a Romney presidency would cause anything that will be a detriment to anyone who needs help? I’m not talking about democrat talking points; I mean proof in public record, not commentary from MSNBC on the 47% video. Rhetoric is not proof. Show the track record from Massachusetts where he was governor how he hurt the poor. There is nothing in actual data to back up the claim that he will hurt the poor, his track record shows the opposite, in government and the private sector. But the demogogs say he is bad, so we can vote for a person who has a proven track record of support of evil.

None of the issues equate to the non-negotiables which the democrat party endorses. Voting for such a candidate when there is a less damaging alternative is cooperation with evil. This is what the documents read when read in their entirety applied with Catholic moral theology. To think otherwise is not in line with the Church. Many of you will disagree, but it doesn’t change the truth.

Why do you vote GOP?
Because the Democrat Party has so wedded themselves to the Culture of Death a Catholic finds themselves with few choices when election time comes around. Its not a matter of I have to vote for the GOP-its a matter that democrats who do not support the culture of death are few and far between and almost non-existent at the national level
