You mean BO should not reflect or look backwards???
No, but I do think the Trumpettes should quit the whining and blaming everything on others, without even giving the slightest consideration that their hero may have weaknesses.

But, thanks for asking!

Trump turned the million$$$$ into Billions! So actually he is a self made billionaire! Ho w do you like them apples!😌
So what?

That’s absolutely irrelevant to the question of whether or not he’s a good president for the United States at this particular moment in history.

William Ayers (Bill to his friends) was the lead in the Weather Underground out of Chicago. He was a Professor at the University of Illinois and they connected Bill “helped” Barry write his autobiography - Obama claims he changed his name but that is not documented.
Got any documentation for all that, from a reliable source? Any? One shred? Anything at all? I mean, aside from the Weather Underground thing. I’ll give you that one, as it relates to Ayers. Nothing else.

You know what, you’re right. I’m sorry - forget it.
Follow up – look, you’re on the side of the angels in this one. No doubt.

But too many of those who are not on the right side make the claim that since some Muslims might claim that Obama is somehow a Muslim, whether he agrees or not, whether he knows it or not, that actually makes him a Muslim. I mean, if someone says I’m a Muslim, or you’re a Muslim, does that make you or me a Muslim?

And that will set me off. I have very strong feelings about the whole birther thing, so I hate to see this repeated, because it only gives ammunition to those who embrace conspiracy theories.

One can call Trump a muslim and that is just an example of Christian charity. Yet someone calls Trump cheeto and that poster is an evil hater.
Apple’s and orange comparison. Faith choice versus skin color? Not the same thing.

One third of Americans are idiotic conspiracy theorists?
No.

I think a lot people might have been ignorant, but not all are right wing conspiracy people. There is ignorance in the urban core too.

The wife of a guy in my Knights council worked for a bank here. She did customer service work for mortgages. After BO’s first election she received many phone calls from people who were duped into believing their mortgage payments would stop if BO won. There is plenty of ignorance on both sides.

BO’s team used this to their advantage at times too.

I was responding to another poster who said Trump wasn’t a self made millionaire due to his father having given him a million $$$ ,which he then turned into billions.
I happen to think he is just the kind of leader we need in this country ,so far so good!

I didn’t realize Maureen Dowd is such a Trump supporter. Interesting…

Yes this!
My family’s income is mostly from a Catholic institution.
For six years we lived under anxiety about what would happen under the HHS contraceptive mandate.
Obama will never, ever get a thumbs up from me.

Except that there is no evidence that Obama is a Muslim. So your argument utterly fails.

Well, the entire discussion of Trump in this thread is irrelevant to the topic of the previous president and his reflections.

But that doesn’t stop anyone, thanks to many posters’ inability to stop foaming at the mouth long enough to post something relevant and not ruin yet another discussion with their incoherent ramblings.

I think Hereriam initially derailed it, unsurprisingly.

Holy Cow! There is more that you need to learn from hard facts. Its not easy because the “hard facts” were cleverly concealed. The Communist cell in Chicago has been firmly planted for years - the Moslem connections are deep. You could start with one name (Valerie Jarrett - ) check the parents - check Rahm Emmanuel and his crazy brother Ezekiel! Of course Saul Alinsky and William (Bill) Ayers - all associates/comrades.

Guess what - Islamists (Moslems) are at this date in time - demanding from a captive if they are Moslem or Christian - not a Moslem? Your dead! Its not really true that Moslems are believers in “the same God as Catholics” - that erroneous change denies the Holy Trinity and all the rest. Holy Father Benedict agreed, as did other Popes from the start. (This would be a HOT topic on CA!) Anyway, thanks for the validation on Barry-Barack Soetorro-Obama!

Please just stop. Obama isn’t a Muslim, and whatever you think of Islam, most Muslims are not jihadists.

Prove it! Barry has been photographed in Moslem garb and Islam and jihad are part and parcel.

I don’t have to prove it. It’s your ridiculous claim. Prince Charles has been photographed on Maori kit, and it doesn’t make him Polynesian.

Thank you. Standard response - deny, denigrate and deflect. Very good!

I’m not sure Obama has any really deep affiliation with any religion. He claims not to have gone much to Jeremiah Wright’s church, though he was a member. People didn’t believe him when he said he didn’t hear much of what Wright ever said, but he might have been telling it just the way it was.

What is pretty certain is that he does not view, or want to view, the U.S. as a Christian nation. He said it isn’t, and also said America is a “Muslim nation”. I don’t think he meant the latter to mean “exclusively”, and think he meant to be sort of shockingly inclusive. But the two statements together do pretty well establish an extremely secular view.

Notwithstanding D’Souza’s sin and the condemnation that attends it, I do think he had a good point in saying Obama is not so much anything as he is “anti-colonial”. His favoring Islamic states and movements can be thought of as favoring Islam over other religions, but it can also be though of as more “anti-western” on the part of a person who learned to associate the west with an inherent colonialist culture despite the collapse of western colonialism.

Personally, I don’t consider Obama an islamist, but I do think of him as sort of romantically anti-colonialist, and to a serious fault.

yes, yes, I know. Trump seems to evidence indifferent church attendance as well.
