Just like the BILLION DOLLAR ABORTION INDUSTRY, these murderers use lies, deception and misinformation to prey on the emotions of uninformed citizens, not for cures, but for money.

No rational person would want to murder an innocent baby for research, especially when adult stem cells have already resulted in NUMEROUS ADVANCES AND CURES.

Embryonic stem cell researchers have produced ZERO, ZILCH, NADA, despite having to murder innocent babies. That is why private investors are putting their research dollars into adult stem cells.

The real travesty is the fact money for adult stem cell research is stolen for unproven “research” resulting in the deaths of many!!!
 
So much for those who said Obama would not do these things becuase he would not want to alienate the “Catholic Church” …

Of course, look at the catholics who surround him, Biden, Pelosi, Kennedy, Sebelius et al … not a one of them has a problem with actively supporting abortion or embryonic stem cell research … Obama rightly could use the defense that he thought this was acceptable and in line with church teaching … afterall, Pelosi just met with the Pope and every pro abortion, pro embryonic stem cell research catholic in the senate and the house recieved communion when the Pope was here last year …
 
Obama is cute. He waits until Friday afternoon to make these announcements. He has turned out to be the most virulently anti-life President in US history. Because he’ll call Cardinal Dolan from time to time to make him feel important, the Church’s response to these outrages will be muted. Way to help this guy get elected, Catholics. The previous adminstration, no matter what you thought of them, were friends of the Catholic Church. Religious NGO’s flourished under Bush. They received adequate funding to do God’s work. Now ACORN and the rest of the rabble rousers will get the money. Awful state of affairs. Why don’t our church leaders speak up against these policies?
 
I am truly beginning to dislike this administration. :mad: Adult stem cells are where the promises lay, not embryonic stem cells!

Not only promise, but of late, there have been reports of actual advances from adult stem cells. It is a move motivated by something other than good science.

Yes, and the agenda marches on. He did sign it according to the television. If life triumphs in four years. it will take quite some time to sort all of this out.

Couple this news with what is going on in Connecticut and you see a direct attack on the Church. The “reformers” in our Faith are hard at work influencing the politicians to drive a wedge between the Bishops and their congregations. On an American level this is the beginning of the assault on Roman Catholicism. Now I hope folks realize that there is more to choosing our elected officials than looking good in a suit, and giving a good speech. Glamour and the footlight sense of the thespian won out. We all lost. And, what is truly sad is that Pelosi, the Kennedys, Biden and Sebelius are out in front on this. The scandal of the homosexual priests provided the impetus. Now we’re getting defeated from within by high-profile apostates . It is the time for the Bishops. They must make their voices heard as we careen to an inevitable state-assisted Schism. And the state is going to be assisting the other side.

“But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age, made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science.”

Even faced by a victorious army, his own army in tatters after Dunkirk, he acknowledged the danger of science without ethics - perverted science. We now face that danger, and it leads to deaths without the intervention of any army. Where life is not sacred, it is disposable.

We have work to do, and prayers to offer.

A bust of Churchhill was given to the White House right after 9/11,it has remained in the oval office since then, and when the Prime Minister visited the White House last week our President wrapped it up and gave it back to the Brits. I wonder if he’ll want to send the Statue of Liberty back too.

And Denise, I saw Fr, Pavone’s Homily last week and he was spot on, it was excelent.
 
What is this? I thought that deciding when life begings is above Obama’s pay grade, but yet he wants to not stand in the way of science when it comes to these possible lives?
 
This really made me sad. I feel like there’s a lot of bad news at the moment.
