The headline is completely misleading. The CEO said it “absolutely” was one of the factors but not the precipitating factor in the decision. Then another statement was issued by the CEO that made zero mentioned of Obamacare. And a third statement stated that any direct linking of Obamacare to the decision to sell is a mischaracterization of what the CEO was trying to say.
Basically, Obamacare was one of many factors that were consdiered. However, no mention is made that without Obamacare the hospital would not have been sold. So it is equally valid to conclude that the hospital would have been sold anyways and that Obamacare was deemed to have done nothing to change that.
The headline apparently takes a quote out of context to make a political statement.
