I said that…and yes you are 100% correct imo. 🙂 Quite sad really.
I couldn’t remember where I’d read it, only that the guy who said it was intelligent, well-rounded, profound, extremely wise, and thought a lot like me.

And probably also good-looking, too. 🙂

In other words, the older Tea Party people worked hard to acquire what they have, while the younger OWS people simply want it all handed to them without having to earn it.
I think its more that they want the opportunity to work for it. Most of them seem to be complaining about employment opportunities.

Good they can start by finding a way to pay for their own loans like most people do.

Ridgerunner;
With union and ACORN backing and the tacit approval of the president, OWS is a spontaneous movement?
These organizations have tried to jump on the OWS bandwagon after it was well underway, but I’m not really sure how far they got because the OWS tend to reject the
status quo and are looking for something new, whatever that is,

The Tea Party message of smaller government and lower taxes is a good message. However, there are underlying messages from the extremists which make me keep my eye on them.

The OWS, in my opinion, are far more harmful, because they don’t have organization. The extremists are able to run amok among the protest.

Also, the protests are starting to wear thin among working Americans who have had to endure traffic jams and days of canceled work because of the OWS protest.

In other words, the OWS protest are now harming the people they’re suppose to be speaking for, the 99% who are just trying to make a living.

And what messages would those be?

They can start by not supporting or voting for an administration that is doing everything within its power to stifle economic growth and to hasten our way to national bankruptcy at the same time.

Personally, I think it’s too late to stave off our collapse as a nation, but that’s me. The national debt now equals our GDP; so it won’t be long now. And if these OWS street jokers think times are tough now, they ain’t seen nothing yet.

Prepare for an armed revolt, for Obama is gonna do away with the 2nd amendment, etc.

Jim
Ummmm, if you look at the direction of the OWS movement, are they really that crazy? With regards to the 2nd Amendment, it looks like Obama has gone the other way, at least for the Mexicans.

I’ve been prepared for that for a long time.

Come and get me, but think first----it won’t be cheap. Or easy.

Then you haven’t been paying attention. The violence, destruction of property, thuggery, theft, graffitti, attacks on police have all been going on since the beginning. Its only now the MSM is covering these acts to any degree.
McLuhan said, “The Media is a luciferian conspiracy to conceal the truth”. Don’t expect an honest reportage from the MSM. They calumniate the Tea Party and adulate the OWS. Put in a broad historical perspective, the Occupy Wall Street movement is the latest, albeit minor, episode of the French Revolution. Expect it therefore, to target the Catholic Church. The MSM will cover it up well.

LOL–you cracked me up with that one. Well played. 👍
