After centuries of division and disintegration in the Body of Christ, the signs of unity are heartwarming, indeed.

It appears that one by one parishes, Bishops and priests without parishes are coming into the Ordinariate.

This is very encouraging. As time goes by I think more and more parishes will decide to join, once they see there is nothing to fear and find that there are few and far between Anglican groups who they are not in communion with. It seems there is not much cohesive leadership among many of the Continuing Anglican groups.

There will always be naysayers towards the Ordinariate, but at some point there will be nothing more to criticize and maybe at some point they can concentrate on getting their own houses in order.

If one TEC parish has applied to enter who knows if more are to come. This is an exciting time for Catholics and many Anglicans.

Yours in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary

Bernadette
